Question by juan j.: While cleaning one of the filters in my pool my grandson dropped a golf ball into drain. what are my options?
I have a 20000 gallon inground pool. It's a self cleaning salt water pool. It has several jets that clean the bottom of the pool. In front of the pool there two filters, one is a basket that catches leaves and that sort of debri, the other is a mash filter, while cleaning this filter, my grandson dropped a golf ball in there.

Get a golf ball retriever sold at golf stores...go to Home Depot or Lowes (hardware store), buy some PVC piping with ells (bends); rig the retriever portion to PVC piping, using the bends to accomadate the drain then go fishing....patience.
